Mine to Have

Mine to Have (Mine, #5)Mine to Have by Cynthia Eden
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Elizabeth Ward left everything behind after a car accident killed her parents. Now she is back in Miami and working on making something of her life. All her hopeful plans are sidetracked when she is kidnapped and tied to a chair in the back room of a dive bar.

Saxon Black undercover-one-man-killing-machine-extraordinar…is derailed on his last mission, one look at Elizabeth and her huge pleading eyes has him struck with all the things he’s missing and working toward. All at once Saxon wants. He wants this mission to be over, he wants to start a real life and he wants Elizabeth.

What Saxon wants he gets. Uncertainty plagues Elizabeth when this mercenary of a man lays down her abductors and takes her on the ride of her life.

This Mine series is full of Dominate males and their I-get-what-I-want attitudes. Love it!! The fact that the good guys are depicted just as carnivorous as the villains really casts the mold for the men to expect in this series~ Loyal, Aggressive, Male and chockfull of testosterone. SCORE!!!!

Elizabeth’s confused state of mind is easy to relate to, she no longer has a gun to her head but who is going to rescue her from Saxon? Twice as deadly as the men who abducted her, he put that roomful of killers down without breaking a sweat. Now on the run trying to piece together who would want her dead. Her only way to survive is Saxon and his brother Vic. When the bodies keep piling up it becomes apparent there is a mole in the FBI. Someone is a step ahead and the victims are put down with no clue as to the why~ This book is nonstop action from one page to the next~ I personally love a book with gruesome murders and deep cover killers, I found myself right at home in reading this book. Put it down in 2 days. Don’t forget the romance!! When a longtime undercover agent finally gets strung out on a female you bet your ass it’s going to be one hot and heavy encounter after another! The action is as rapid as the gun fire. As a woman I adored all the overprotective attention Saxon showed. For all that hardcore killing he had this needy side that really spoke to me. Looking for some afternoon action be sure to pick up this book~
