Fire Inside (Chaos, #2)Fire Inside by Kristen Ashley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Let's say you enjoy Sons of Anarchy!! Now take the sexy bikers + their ladies throw in Naughty adult time, Fantastic funny Drama only a woman could come up with and PoOf you have Fire Inside!!! It is the inner workings of relationships in the club, you know the footage behind closed doors (or better put under the sheets wait maybe up against the wall)!! That's it up against the wall...lol You have two well written and extremely descriptive characters who just come together for a night of ruff and tumble.
But when it is that good, one night won't do for Hopper Kincade and he gets what he wants when he wants it....Hopper ubber sexy complete alpha male with a devoted heart and a mind set on Lanie! He sees through the BS she has so carefully constructed around herself. Lanie has a complete disaster of a love life or what she had of one. She thinks one night with Hopper (all time crush) will be the grease on her wheels to set her on the right path to living again.
Oh h0w right she was, what started out as mind blowing sex turns into a life altering quest. Lanie can make it past her regret especially with Hopper shielding her.

I loved Kristen Ashley's fast pace writing with the perfect combo of creativity and originality. Reading her book (a first for me) I felt I had a sure grip on the life she was writing about! Loved every page of it. Not to mention the HOT, STEAMY, Sexy time...Wow she sure can illustrate a pic...lol I found the writing sheer perfection!!!

Word of the day: chanticleer chan·ti·cleer noun Now Literary. a rooster: used as a proper name in medieval fables. Origin: 1250–1300; Middle English Chauntecler < Old French Chantecler noun use of verb phrase chante cler sing clear. Have you ever read Aesops Fables.. A lot to be learned from such a book. I got my copy from my great-grandmother when I was in the 5th grade. I really didn't care much about the book then. It's funny how time and life change everything! To date is still have it and enjoy sharing it with my 9yr old son.

Word of the day: lob·lol·ly n. pl. lob·lol·lies 1. Chiefly Southern U.S. A mudhole; a mire. 2. The loblolly pine. [Perhaps dialectal lob, to bubble + lolly, broth.] Regional Note: Loblolly is a combination of lob, probably an onomatopoeia for the thick heavy bubbling of cooking porridge, and lolly, an old British dialect word for "broth, soup, or any other food boiled in a pot." Thus, loblolly originally denoted thick porridge or gruel, especially that eaten by sailors onboard ship. In the southern United States, the word is used to mean "a mudhole; a mire," a sense derived from an allusion to the consistency of porridge. Love this one, and few know of it or have used it...
With Summer approaching I am relieved and biding my time to dig into my kindle. As of late I really haven't gotten onto any good books?? Eeeek, about to perouse over to amazon and Goodreads to try and find my next victim...

Lord of Darkness (Maiden Lane, #5)Lord of Darkness by Elizabeth Hoyt
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Can you find true love twice in a lifetime?? After it is so painfully ripped from you? For the 5th installment of The Maiden Lane books I LOVED this book. As I did all the others...LOL

Two people who both struggle to live life, after thinking it would be impossible. Why bother with nothing to live for?? Can these two come together and sprout new love, with hearts that have had pain and death take hold.

I think so.. Meg an Godric are head strong beautiful counterparts. Meg so vivacious after loosing all she held dear. She plants the seed of possibility in Godric. That seed takes root and through out the book their love just blooms!
I found myself checking the bottom of my kindle just to make sure I had plenty of book left to read. I find Mrs. Hoyt's writing is like a whirlwind and it is over too quickly. Not that the book is too short but, so darn good you can stop nor do you want to..

Thief of Shadows (Maiden Lane, #4)Thief of Shadows by Elizabeth Hoyt
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

For the fourth installment of the Maiden Lane series, I was blown away.
I have been waiting for Winter's turn at romance, and was not disappointed. The dark a brooding man has a fabulous counterpart in Isabel. Isabel is proper and beautiful so full of light all donned with a fashion to die for. Winter from all the glimpses you catch of him in the previous books, is a reserved man with a modest life style. But you should never judge a book by it cover!!

Underneath the guise of the Head Master for the school, lies a virile sexy beast of a man with wild passion. Isabel not only tempts his monk like state, she breaks open the damn he has carefully constructed hold back all real emotion. His flood gates overflow with love of life and a rebirth of sorts, regeneration in spirit with every encounter they share!

The love and sheer sensuality Winter has was mind blowing!!! With every flirtation, heat and promise churn into a frenzy Winter and Isabel can barely contain. The love that develops is deep and everlasting, each bringing into the light what the other so closely locked away.

I have the very next book open and ready for the kill. I simple ADORE Elizabeth Hoyt's work!!! Something I truly love is the small story all of her series have at the beginning of each chapter. I find them endearing and look forward to those as well as what lies ahead in the actual book!!

WELL DONE~
