The Werewolf Prince and I (The Moretti Werewolf, #1)The Werewolf Prince and I by Marian Tee
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

My thoughts on the book:

I loved how a simple attraction and a not so simple agreement can mix it up!Hmmmm.. What would you do when a super sexy billionaire makes a proposal that you can walk away from? I mean it can't always be that easy right? Nobody is perfect even this Alpha prince who promises the world. Domenico Moretti...sounds yummy..no? He has the sensual allure Misty can't seam to shake!

Misty Wall is your average hard working woman with too much on her plate. Loads of responsibilities weighting her down with her family. Not to mention the everyday crap she has to deal with at her job. Money is money.. Domenico sweeps in and paints a wonderful picture how their agreement will benefit them both in soooo many ways!

A Sizzling connection right from their first encounter. But happily ever after doesn't come cheep. The parts I loved about the book were the hard times and white lies Misty had succumbed to. Meaning relationships are not perfect they are work. I felt it made the growing affection between these two all the more believeable. Hard times and totally crappy situations that arose. Misty keeps her composure and really evolves from this new world she thrusts herself into. Longtime lover of the paranormal make the mental grasp easier. But I guess people are pains in the asses regardless of being human or wolf..lol

I am ready for the next book.!!!

Eternal Rider (Lords of Deliverance, #1)Eternal Rider by Larissa Ione
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

You may think of them as the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse....Ares just considers them all family. Calling them his brothers and sister seems to fit until one of their Seals is broken. The Seals keep them from turning into their Demon counterpart. Ares would be War, if and when his Seal falls apart so does everything he holds dear. Seeing what has happen to his beloved brother Reseph aka Pestilence, after his Seal shattered just as any semblance of himself has.

Ares can't even fathom losing the battle with his fate. Maintain control and find his "agimortus". Agimortus- A trigger for breaking the Horseman's seal's. That is until he stumbles in to Cara Thornhart's home.

Cara is a natural animal healer. Healer as in she has some unnatural capabilities. Deep with in her very being she can call forth a power to aid in the healing of animals. With every up there is a down. Let's just say humans aren't so lucky to be on the receiving end of her touch.

Cara being the nurturing animal lover she is, haphazardly heals a Hellhound "Hal". This is where the pot really starts to boil! Through her magic touch she sets her path into a Maelstrom of Horsemen and apocalyptic chaos.

Ares and Cara's story comes together and they both go down the rabbit hole of prophetical fun.

I must say I just adored this book. Once you got the lingo down about the Greek background it was smooth sailing from there...At least for me as a reader. The book was filled of action and GREAT I mean GREAT SEXY TIME!! I really don't think it was forced or too quick.. I mean when Death is knocking at your door I say jump in with both feet! Do it all whenever and where ever you can! So many fantastic moments like the carnage Pestilence leaves in his wake was some great writing. Descriptive to a T!! In the best ways possible. Larissa Ione hit a home run with this series. I will be reading them all and everything else she was down on paper very soon!

Edge of Dawn (Midnight Breed, #11)Edge of Dawn by Lara Adrian
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

20 years after the last book is where the story takes place. (Which I love)

Vampires shedding new light on the world..or under the spot light if you will...lol Humans and Breeds are on the verge of coexisting with the help of new a council. But in what world do we all get along? Rebels breaking new laws and protesting, and the Order under tight supervision.

Mira captain of an Order's patrol unit recently demoted due to her idea of vigilantly justice. Nothing, even revenge can fill the void inside her. 8 years going through the motions of living, keeping it together is getting harder and harder.

Her new assignment of babysitting Jeremy Ackmeyer is more of a punishment. But action isn't very far away. Thrown in a compromising situation. Where escape leads you back to your life, a life that had lost all meaning. Is Bowman the leader of the rebels more than meets the eye? Be careful on what you wish for! The double edge of life isn't all that forth coming. When Mira gets her hearts desire what can she stand to lose to keep it?

My thoughts on the book:

The books being based in the future of the Breeds was tastefully done.
I think setting up a timeline help show that Vampires are timeless and it helps additional characters mature. Mira was a child in Veil of Midnight...without the time warp when would we read her story? I loved how you could see the setting in the making for the upcoming books. You have a bunch of new young breeds just waiting to get on pen and paper. Humans are now in the know.. aware they are not the only planet dwellers. Especially when you get to the end of the book. WOW what a huge shocker. New threats to human and Breeds alike, new technology that can change the up coming battle. Lara Adrian expands the world she created tastefully and most thorough.

Highlander Most Wanted (The Montgomerys and Armstrongs, #2)Highlander Most Wanted by Maya Banks
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I absolutely love Highland Romance's, and Maya Banks.

What do you get when two of the strongest and most rival families come together and seek vengeance for one of their own? A flipping amazing romance.

The Montgomery's and Armstrong's join forces to rain holy hell down on the McHugh clan. Ian McHugh's Clan will not get away with the abuse he inflicted on their Clan's woman. Plans quickly steer in another direction when it is clear the remaining Laird of the Keep hightailed it to safer pastures. Leaving a starving, vindictive and hateful lot to fend for themselves. Sure they act all modest and ready to submit when faced with certain death.

Genevieve McInnes steps forward to make sure the remaining Clan of mostly women and children come to no harm. I mean it wasn't like she had any choice. With no money or place to flee to,what else could she do? I would like to say burn it to the ground, for the grave injustice this lot has forsaken her to live with. But no sad to say she has more tact that that!

The late Ian McHugh (total bastard) absconded with her and has kept her sheltered for a year in conditions that are not fit for a dog! All the while his clan stood by and permitted the abuse and rape to transpire.

Bowen Montgomery (sexy Highland stud who kills for justice) shows up and he is totally blown away by the actions of just about everyone.
Genevieve amazed him the most I would say surviving under the most brutal circumstances. Yet she still has compassion for the human soul, and tries to rise above the hate for the greater good. The McHugh Clan is perpetually stumping him with their disgraceful assault upon Genevieve for being a reminder of just how weak and pathetic they truly are!

My thoughts:
Amazing, well rounded story! You have the churning hatred for the McHughs rivaling with the compassion and romance trying to bloom with Bowen and Genevieve. I must say the set backs that make the happy ending seem to be impossible were well constructed. I love to see a story from both sides and on several levels I was totally in awe of how things played out. Genevieve with her sin and the shame she endures was heart breaking! Cutting herself from her own kin thinking she was being selfless. Brought tears to my eyes. Even when she thinks she was finally free her burdened life shackles her at every turn. Bowen what an amazing character I would think Maya Bank should create a mold for all men!!

Favorite part was the end I totally cried, the emotional journey I went on through Maya Banks writing was incredible.

Lilith Enraptured (Divinity Warriors, #1)Lilith Enraptured by Michelle M. Pillow
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

First time read Michelle M.Pillow. I am so hooked!

Working for Divinity and time jumping to observe other realms...sounds like a dream job right? That is until you really piss someone off and you find yourself on a uncharted plane. This is Lilith's current predicament along with some other women. All tied up and no where to run!! "The faster you make thenm come, the less time you spend in their presence" This is not the advice you want to hear stirring you from a drug induced sleep...lol

Lord Sorin...swoon! Curses women after his last dishonorable wife and the tragedy that befell her. But the sizzling heat that stirs his bones when he looks upon Lilith, has him claiming her posthaste! Never being asked for more than serving his late wife's baser needs and protecting her, was all expected from him. Lilith will not surrender until she analyzes the very core of Sorin. He unfurls new feelings in herself she can barely understand. Together as their journey unfolds to see if what "Divinity" united can really be a love for all time...

My thoughts:

Michelle M. Pillow has conjured up worlds with in our world. So fantastic!! A perfect blend of fantasy and period romance. Masterminding traveling upon different planes of time on planet Earth.... WOW With this epic idea you have advanced technology with the prospering idea of Wild Hot Men from a more primitive time.....all thrown together!
The story is so erotic, Michelle M Pillows detail with words will leave you writhing for more. I also adore the new covers on the Divinity warrior series..simple yet oh so sexy !

Looking for a white hot sexy romance than look no further. Plenty of intrigue and action but most definitely tons of OMG moments!!

Silver lining after the storm

The Fetish Box, Part Three: What Remains (The Fetish Box, #3)The Fetish Box, Part Three: What Remains by Nicole Camden
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Closure finally! LOL

Ever notice everything looks more crisp and beautiful after a rain storm?

Well the after effects of Mary's life turning upside down from the Box and her home being trashed are just as renewing. Mary has bloomed with the resolve to fight for the one's she has come of love and embrace. Having her home broken into has shook free the emotions John was holding so tightly too. Mary, Max and John have a respectful understand in what matters most to each other with clear intentions.

Mary has chosen to play the Dominate role when it comes to her friends and family, no longer a victim. Her party is yet another storm to brace for and wait through. The Box is slowly coming back to it's former glory along with Mary's own understanding of who she is and wants to be. Her new home is transforming into a collaboration of herself and her mother, a woman whom she is coming to really love.

My thoughts:

The story comes full circle in the third installment of the Fetish Box was a delight to read. Beginning with the arrival of the virginal Georgian girl that transitions into a woman taking hold of her own sensuality.
I loved how Mary found love and self acceptance in this new life she was sprung into. (view spoiler)[ The part where Mary realized that she was really apart of her mother's life, was heart warming. All the gifts that were left behind to show her how loved and cherished she was..sniffles. (hide spoiler)]

The sexy time depicted in the book was well written and hot. I feel the exploration of sexuality is a personal journey for everyone. Meaning I didn't find it trashy...lol Nicole Camden is really coming into her own. I enjoy her writing and look forward more of her writing!
