Law Man (Dream Man, #3)Law Man by Kristen Ashley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What is there not to love about the Dream Man Series? Really I have purchased several and to date I can not find one thing that is disappointing to me.

Mara Hanover has built her life up, not looking back, never going back. She has worked for everything she has, no handouts here. Her struggles aren't over unfortunately, getting that dreaded call to go pick up her cousins children again. Billy is 9 and his Teflon coated sister is 6, both running away from the dysfunctional chaos that is their life. When she realizes she is the only hope these kids have, she steps up to the plate and goes for legal guardian (Thank GOD). Mitch Lawson... (love that name) is definitely on a different level than Mara, just not in the way she imagined. He lives in the real world, the take no prisoners kinda world.

Mitch has to be every woman's dream man, one who comes in and sees what needs to be done and does it! He sees that Mara needs help and just offers it up, no questions, no strings attached. Just good people, not that Mara even knows what to do with that kind of attention, she has this distorted view of herself thinking she is "less" then most. Not good enough to have a good man, or being treated well. You really see why these ideas hold strong in her mind. Her family/Mother WOW, Just WOW!! Mitch may be the only person who can help Mara with her self-worth and the blow back from her cousins illegal activities.

These Dream Man books all make me cry...lmao I just get so swept up in the story and even if it's a good thing I get all drippy eyed. So many ups and downs, I swear the books seem to be based on real life stuff...each of them has a realistic quality!! Weather it is the way each character pops off the page or just the descriptive way Mara and Mitch (in this book) interact. She often talks about the funny things her belly does when she sees him. In each book there is physical reactions like this and I find that I really love that. I have become obsessed with Kristen Ashley, I want to read everything she has! I have tested this theory (fully) loved the first book I read of hers, since then I have devoured 4 more books, now I am fully addicted!!!
