Kiril is a Dragon King on a mission, he’ll rescue Rhi. Rhi had been instrumental in saving his Dragon brothers, saving her in return would be the least he could do. Carefully bidding his time in Ireland, waiting for the Dark to finally make their move.

Shara, was the confound beauty that mesmerized him from their very first encounter. Kiril could hardly believe this was the course the Dark wanted to take. Seduction. Game on! Challenge Accepted! Her glamour had him awestricken at first sight and after a second glance he noticed her Red eyes and silver streaked hair did nothing to stop the ache in his groin.

600 years alone chained in a room, locked away and secluded from everyone, should be enough time to atone for her transgressions. At least that’s what Shara thought. She was this anomaly in her family, not quite evil enough. So, she killed the 5 women she brought home giving them reprieve this one act dishonored her in her families eyes. She won’t miss this long waited opportunity to show them she is worthy. Family is everything with the Dark Fae.

Shara’s desire to be touched by this Dragon King shouldn’t be so alarming, it’s a natural reaction to crave what she has lacked for 6 centuries. Touch. Contact. Warmth. In this tangled web she has begun to weave, never once did she imagine the only seclusion and alone time she would be granted was with Kiril. Once she has tasted the passion of the Dragon, can she follow through and gain back her place among her family?

Shara looked at the hand he held out for her.
The warmth , the strength. It made her insides turn to jelly. If he could do that with a simple touch of his hand, what would it be like in his arms, his lips on hers? His skin gliding against hers? His cock filling her?

Part 1 was a great intro into the Dragon King’s series. Kiril is intelligent and strong and extremely loyal. What I really enjoyed was the fact Donna Grant didn’t give it all away in the first part. The mystery isn’t unraveled quickly, I can’t stand when you start a book and instantly the plot just unfolds. Kiril purposely stays in Cork allowing the Dark Fae to keep watch. The way his instincts pick up deception is believable and calculating. Shara is a curiously crafted woman…with her longing & desires going up against her need to be accepted with her family, I am dying to see where her heart will lead her.

This first part is well introduced and leaves you longing for part 2, without the feeling you’ve been robbed! LOL

It is just enough to keep your interest peeked and curiosity strumming. The powerful connection Kiril and Shara stirred with their first coupling has left residual longing that both find hard to resist. I can’t wait to see what part 2 brings to the table~
